Admission type
Special Admission for Overseas Koreans & Foreigners (non-quota, 4 rounds/year: Rounds 1–3 for March intake, Round 4 for September intake) — document screening (Stage 1, selects 200%) followed by interview or practical exam (Stage 2, selects 100%). Eligibility categories: ① overseas Koreans (within 2%, e.g. children of overseas workers who studied abroad 3+ years) ② full-curriculum overseas completers (overseas Koreans, foreigners, or naturalized citizens, no quota) ③ North Korean defectors (no quota) ④ applicants with both parents foreign nationals (no quota, TOPIK Level 3+ required, must reach Level 4 by graduation).
