Admission type
- Pure-foreign-national undergraduate new and transfer admission (per the Higher Education Act Enforcement Decree, for applicants with both parents foreign nationals). Transfer applicants must have completed at least 2 semesters at a college/university in Korea or abroad. Separately, a ‘Special Admission for International Students’ track exists, limited to: ① one nominee per school from a KNU sister-institution president/dean, ② missionaries dispatched by the Korea Nazarene denomination to the applicant’s region (Asia and other developing regions), ③ Nazarene international missionaries dispatched per KNU’s founding mission (world missions), or ④ a nominee of the KNU president — selection follows KNU’s internal criteria.
- Special-admission awardees must obtain TOPIK Level 4 within 3 years, attend a Nazarene-affiliated church, take part in International Exchange Office programs, and may work no more than 8 hours/week per semester (managed by the International Exchange Office). Majors span Theology/Christian Education/Christian Counseling, Social Welfare, Business/Finance & Real Estate/Airline-Hotel-Tourism Management/Global Convergence (English track), Police & Public Administration, Broadcast Media/Visual Design, AI Big Data Software/AI-IoT Security, Nursing/Physical Therapy/Clinical Pathology/Emergency Medical Services/Rehabilitation Engineering/Speech Therapy/Counseling Psychology/Human Rehabilitation/Sign Language Interpretation, Early Childhood & Special Education, Rehabilitation & Independence, Special Physical Education/Sports Rehabilitation/Senior Sports, Applied Music/Taekwondo, and Chungnam Rehabilitation Employment, among many others.
