Eligibility: (1) applicant and both parents foreign nationals, plus TOPIK Level 3+ / KIIP Stage 3 (or pre-assessment 61+) / King Sejong Institute Intermediate 1+ — meet one of these, or (2) for International-Student-only departments, an English score (TOEFL PBT530/CBT197/iBT71 or IELTS 5.5) may substitute, or (3) GKS/government-sponsored scholarship recipients (language requirement waived, subject to Ministry of Justice visa criteria), or (4) president-approved international students (graduate only). Most undergraduate quotas are ‘unlimited (outside quota)’. Screening: 50% document review + 50% interview.

Language requirements
At application (undergraduate): TOPIK Level 3+, or KIIP (Korea Immigration & Integration Program) Level 3 completion (or a pre-assessment score of 61+), or King Sejong Institute Intermediate 1 or higher — one of the three. For International Student-only departments, an English score (TOEFL PBT530/CBT197/iBT71 or IELTS 5.5+) may substitute. The International Student-only Global Industry Convergence Division requires TOPIK Level 3+ only (Korean-medium instruction). Graduation requirement: students admitted with TOPIK Level 3 must obtain TOPIK Level 4 or higher before graduation.
