Admission type
- Office of Admissions ‘International Admission’ track: eligibility requires that both the applicant and both parents acquired foreign nationality before starting an education equivalent to Korean high school (dual nationals and stateless persons do not qualify as foreign students).
- Freshmen and Transfer both run on the same eligibility criteria and the same Fall 2026 schedule. Open to all departments, plus a ‘Dedicated to International Students’ category (Global Tourism, Global Digital Business, Food & Nutrition, Global Korean, plus Business Administration and IT — both English Track). Selection: interview 100% (no separate document-screening score) — evaluated on Academic Ability 25 points, Character and Values 20 points, Critical Thinking and Communication Skills 30 points, Interview Attitude 25 points, each graded A(excellent)–D(poor) then ranked by total score; an applicant scoring all D’s or missing the interview may be disqualified, and tied applicants are all admitted.

[Korean Track] ①TOPIK level 2+ or the university’s own DHU TOPIK level 2+ — those admitted at level 2 must complete 300+ hours of Korean-language training within one year of enrollment (reduced to 120 hours if TOPIK/DHU TOPIK level 3 is earned during the first semester) ②KIIP (Social Integration Program) stage 3, or a pre-assessment score of 61+ ③King Sejong Institute Intermediate 1 or above. [English Track] TOEFL PBT 530 (CBT 197, iBT 71), IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, or TEPS 600 (New TEPS 326) — waived for nationals of English-speaking countries or those who completed secondary education there, upon submission of a graduation certificate.
