Language requirements

TOPIK Level 3 or higher, or one of the following equivalents: ① NIIED TOPIK Level 3+ ② completion of a Level 3+ course at a Korean-language institute affiliated with a Korean university (including this university’s own) ③ Level 3+ of the Ministry of Justice’s Social Integration Program, or 61+ on its pre-assessment test ④ Sejong Institute Korean course Intermediate 1 or higher ⑤ KLAT (Korean Language Ability Test) Level 3+ ⑥ passing score on the university’s own Korean proficiency test. To remain eligible for scholarships, students must hold TOPIK Level 4 or higher from the 2nd-year 1st semester onward.
