Korean language program
Hanbat Office of International Affairs runs a Korean Language Program (D-4). The admission form includes a 'Korean Language Program (if available)' completion field; completing the Hanbat Korean program to Level 3 is accepted in place of TOPIK 3.

- Applies to applicants where neither the applicant nor both parents hold Korean nationality.
- Korean track: TOPIK Level 3 or higher (or completion of Hanbat OIA Korean Language Program at Level 3).
- English track: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 79 or higher, AND TOPIK Level 2 or higher (some routes also accept IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL iBT 71 / Duolingo 100).
- To take major courses and to graduate, TOPIK Level 4 or higher is required.
- Only valid (unexpired) TOPIK / IBT-TOPIK score certificates are accepted.
- an English-proficiency admission route exists (IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 79, plus TOPIK Level 2).
- English-proficiency-based scholarships are also offered.
- However major course registration and graduation require TOPIK Level 4
- degree instruction is primarily in Korean, so the extent of fully English-taught degree programs is (unverified).
