  • A separate AI & Big Data track offers KRW 3,000,000 for foreign graduate students in data-science-related fields.

Eligibility

Who can apply
  • Foreign (non-Korean) students currently enrolled at a Korean university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Korean nationals cannot apply.
  • Applicant must be able to communicate in Korean or English.
  • Language-institute and short-term exchange students are excluded.
  • TOPIK Level 4 or higher is expected for undergraduate applicants (unverified).
  • Aim of the program is to develop foreign students into global talent who settle in Korea via employment after graduation.
Nationalities
  • All non-Korean nationalities (no nationality restriction
  • Korean citizens excluded)

How to apply

Application period
  • Announced separately by the Foundation each year
  • annual main round typically opens around February–March (undergraduate / graduate).
  • Most recent posted cycle on the Foundation platform is the 2025 Global Scholarship Program
  • 2026 cycle not yet confirmed (unverified).
How to apply
  • Apply online through the Daewoong Foundation talent platform (dftalent.vividapp.kr) or via the applicant’s university international office, which posts nomination/recruitment notices.
  • Submit the Foundation application form (PDF), a current enrollment certificate, and self-introduction video(s) (Korean and English, mp4, up to 500MB).
  • Selection: application → document review → aptitude test → interview → final announcement.
