- Foreign Special Admission — 100% document review (no written exam), covers both New Admission (freshman/1st grade) and Transfer Admission (3rd grade).
- Two applicant categories: (A) foreigners whose parents are both foreign nationals, and (B) foreigners who completed the entire primary/secondary curriculum abroad (dual Korean nationality holders in either category are disqualified).
- TOPIK Level 3+ required (Level 2+ for Arts & Sports majors, e.g.
- Contemporary Music, Animation, Marine Leisure and Sports, Coast Guard Studies), OR completion of a 6-month+ Korean course recommended by the university’s language education center or a recognized language training institution, OR recommendation from international organizations (UN, UNESCO, Red Cross) or the applicant’s home-country government agency confirming capability to complete a 4-year Korean university course.
- For applicants using the English-proficiency route: TOEFL 530(PBT)/197(CBT)/71(iBT), IELTS 5.5, or TEPS 600+.
- 7.4 : 1 for Korean applicants (general track, 2025 disclosure) — the foreign track is screened separately
