Admission type
- ‘Foreign Student Admission’ under the Office of Admissions & Enrollment Management (ibsi.cu.ac.kr): open to foreign students whose parents are both non-Korean nationals (whether residing in or outside Korea) — Freshmen and Transfer (2nd/3rd year, plus degree-holder Transfer-2).
- Selection: document screening 100% (some applicants, e.g. English Track admits, may face an additional interview by individual notice). Freshman and Transfer quotas are both listed as ‘unlimited’ (outside quota) — no competition ratio is published. Two tracks: ①Korean Track (based on TOPIK and other Korean-proficiency scores) ②English Track (Liberal Studies and the International Studies Division’s Global Business Administration major only, based on TOEFL/IELTS/TEPS/CEFR — admission may be denied depending on availability).

Language requirements
- [Korean Track] ①TOPIK Level 3+ or a pass on the university’s own CU-TOPIK exam (TOPIK Level 2+ for arts/physical-education majors) ②King Sejong Institute Intermediate 1 or higher ③completion of Level 3, or 2+ semesters, at the university’s Institute of Korean Language, DCU — applicants using the 2-semester-completion route for new admission may only apply to the ‘Undeclared Major’ ④Social Integration Program Level 3 completion or a pre-assessment score of 61+. Bilingual applicants (native language + Korean, etc.) are exempt from the language requirement if they meet the department’s minimum standard. [English Track (Liberal Studies and the International Studies Division’s Global Business Administration major only)] TOEFL PBT 530/iBT 5+, CBT 197+, IELTS 5.5+, CEFR B2+, TEPS 600 or New TEPS 326+ — note: ‘English Track admission may be denied depending on availability.’
