Application period
2026 Fall semester (2nd semester) new and transfer admissions: application period 2026.06.01 (Mon) ~ 07.15 (Wed), per Admissions Center Notice No. 743. The ‘Overseas Korean and Foreign National Admission’ track is open to all majors for years 1–3.
Admission type
Overseas-Korean and Foreign-National Admission (special admission outside the quota, open to all majors for years 1–3), plus a dedicated ‘Foreign Student Admission’ guide page (go.wdu.ac.kr/v/171). Eligibility: Year 1 — graduate of a foreign high school (foreign GED not accepted); Year 2 — currently enrolled at a foreign university with 1/4+ of required credits completed, or holder of a 2–3 year associate degree; Year 3 — currently enrolled at a foreign university with 1/2+ of required credits completed, or holder of an associate degree. Application process: online application (go.wdu.ac.kr/go) → application fee payment → admission exam (study plan essay, etc. + aptitude assessment) → registration upon acceptance. Proof of education: certificate of degree recognition or Apostille certification, plus notarized Korean translation for non-English documents.
